The Wedding Story of Eneet and Sunny

In 2019, Sunny first spotted Eneet’s Instagram profile. Initially, he was hesitant to follow, thinking, “She probably won’t follow back.” But a year later, after taking another look at her page, he decided to follow her. When Eneet saw his follow, she recalls, “I noticed he was really into fitness like I was, so I followed him back.”

The turning point in their story came when Eneet posted a story about studying for her personal training license and eating her meal-prepped food. Sunny couldn’t resist making a bold move. “He saw that story and DM’d me saying, ‘Marry me, woman,’” Eneet laughs as she remembers. “I thought it was hilarious and replied with a witty comment. That’s how our daily conversations began.”

From there, their connection deepened quickly. They bonded over their shared love for fitness, exchanging workout tips and meal prep ideas. “We talked about everything under the sun,” Eneet shares. “It was amazing how quickly we realized we had so much in common. He really is my twin flame.”

As their relationship progressed, it became clear that Sunny and Eneet were more than just fitness buddies; they were truly meant for each other. “Sunny knew what he wanted and went for it,” Eneet reflects. “That’s how our story started, and it’s led us to this incredible moment.”

For Eneet, Sunny’s thoughtfulness and selflessness are qualities she treasures deeply. “My favorite thing about Sunny is how much of a priority he makes me,” she says. “He’ll do anything for me without me even having to ask. For example, when he knows I have to get up early to go to the gym, he wakes up to clear the snow off my car without me saying a word.” She adds, “His selflessness never goes unnoticed. Whether it’s the small things, like preparing my pre-workout for me in the mornings, or the big things, like supporting me through tough times, he’s always there, putting my needs first. The fact that he is obsessed with the gym is just the cherry on top.”

Sunny, too, finds his admiration for Eneet’s qualities growing stronger every day. “My favorite thing about my wife is how compassionate and kind she is,” he says. “The way she cares about her family, friends, and me is so inspiring.” He continues, “She is also the most ambitious and hardworking woman I have ever met. Her dedication and drive are unmatched, and she motivates me to keep working hard. Her warmth and kindness make every day brighter. She balances her ambitions with such grace and never forgets to show love and care to those around her. I feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful wife by my side.”

This deep connection was the inspiration behind Sunny’s proposal. “Eneet cherishes sentiments and emotions deeply,” Sunny explains. “She didn’t want to choose her engagement ring in advance because she believed any ring I picked would have more meaning.” Knowing Eneet preferred something intimate and spontaneous, Sunny planned a surprise that would truly reflect their unique bond.

He suggested they film a fitness video, something they often did together, to keep the proposal under wraps. However, Sunny had secretly arranged for a violinist to play Eneet’s favorite song, “Let Me Love You” by Mario, in the middle of a soccer field where they were supposed to start filming. When Eneet realized what was happening, Sunny got down on one knee and poured out his feelings. “She couldn’t hold back the tears,” Sunny recalls. After the proposal, they returned home to find their closest friends and family waiting to celebrate the start of their new chapter together.

With their engagement on July 2nd, 2022, they had about a year and a half to plan their wedding. From the beginning, Eneet and Sunny were set on an outdoor wedding, so finding the perfect venue was their first challenge. By September 2022, they had secured a stunning 200-acre property with a clear tent, allowing the natural beauty of the surroundings to shine through. The Anand Karaj, held at this breathtaking location, was particularly significant to Eneet. Driven by her deep appreciation for sentimental moments, she had dreamed of a ceremony that would feel like stepping into a fairy tale—and it certainly did. 

When it came to their outfits, Eneet and Sunny aimed to add a unique twist to traditional attire. Eneet was drawn to the idea of wearing red but wanted her look to stand out from other brides. Sunny chose a distinctive gray and beige color scheme for his outfit, which complemented Eneet’s attire and added a modern touch. Eneet’s red outfit featured colorful accents, which inspired her to choose a colorful jewelry set instead of traditional gold. She also personalized her Kaleere with hanging threads for a unique flair. “The culmination of these choices felt authentic to us and reflected our personalities beautifully,” Eneet explains. “Our outfits were curated to showcase our individual style, making our wedding day truly memorable.”

Their decor team, Diya Decor, played a crucial role in bringing their vision to life. “The decor was meticulously crafted to complement our wedding outfits,” Eneet says. Reflecting on the planning process, she admits, “The wedding planning felt like a blur, with time flying by. It taught us to cherish every moment leading up to our big day and to savor the journey towards our future together.”

One of Eneet’s favorite memories from the day was after the ceremony when guests kept mentioning how Sunny couldn’t stop smiling. “Hearing that melted my heart,” Eneet says. “When I later saw the professional pictures, his smile was radiant in every single frame.” Sunny shared with Eneet that marrying her brought about the most surreal feelings and that he had never felt something so right. 

Eneet and Sunny offer heartfelt advice to those planning their own weddings. “My advice to those getting married is to prioritize compatibility,” Eneet suggests. “It’s crucial to find someone who shares your interests and values, someone with whom you can enjoy both the exciting and mundane aspects of life. Marrying your best friend means finding a partner you never tire of and who enhances your life in every way.”

Eneet adds, “Sunny and I live a similar lifestyle, which has been a constant source of motivation and inspiration for both of us. An ideal Saturday morning for us starts with sharing our pre-workout in the car, discussing our plans for the day, and hitting the gym together. We push each other to reach new goals and support one another in our fitness journey. After a good workout, we enjoy preparing healthy, high-protein meals together. Cooking side by side lets us bond over shared interests and fuels our bodies with nutritious food that we both enjoy. Train together, stay together!”

Eneet and Sunny’s love story serves as a beautiful reminder of how love can blossom from the most unexpected beginnings. What started as a hesitant follow on Instagram evolved into a profound and lasting connection built on shared passions, deep respect, and unwavering support. Their love for fitness not only brought them together but also strengthened their bond, turning everyday moments into cherished memories.
